Best Buy is hiring: Senior Manager, Audience Media Strategy in Minneapolis

As the Senior Manager, Audience Media Strategy, you’ll lead the Best Buy media team’s audience strategy and execution. You will drive audience-related business processes and capabilities across media channels and ensure the business operates within privacy regulatory standards in a rapidly evolving media landscape. You’ll work across all levels from individual contributors to executive leaders, partnering closely with media, technology, legal, and agency teams.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

Responsibilities Define the Best Buy media team’s audience data strategy and testing roadmap

Oversee audience publishing and maintenance, supporting over >1,000 annual advertising campaigns and close to $1billion in media investment

Lead testing and rollout of new identity capabilities to evolve how we identify and reach our customers

Maintain key stakeholder relationships with data and audience advertising technology platforms (ex: LiveRamp, Google, Adobe, Meta)

Partner with enterprise data privacy, advising on how Best Buy can operate under federal and state customer privacy regulations

Maintain knowledge of current media trends, privacy regulations, and Adtech/ Martech ecosystems

Provide thought leadership and education on Audience and Data capabilities, products, and trends

Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Basic qualifications 8 years of experience in digital media buying (working knowledge of DSPs: DV360, TTD, Criteo), ad technology, ad operations or analytics

5 years of experience with audience-based media buying, audience technologies (Adobe, Google, etc) or related technologies

3 years of indirect or direct people leadership experience

Preferred qualifications Deep understanding of consumer privacy regulations

Ability to influence and lead beyond your role

Ability to distill complex ideas and drive action

Experience with audience clean room activations

Experience in retail media and understanding of retail media network monetization strategies
