Beacon Hill is hiring: Graphic Designer in Lake Forest

A global leader in biopharmaceuticals is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join their in-house creative team of 100+ strategic and creative professionals. This is a long-term contract role supporting the US market and affiliates in 80+ countries.

You’ll work in a modern, eco-friendly campus with bright open spaces, an on-site Starbucks, full-service cafeteria (sushi Wednesdays!), a spacious gym, and nature trails.

This is a collaborative environment where designers, writers, developers, motion artists, and project managers come together to create impactful marketing materials across digital and print channels.

Graphic Designer – Hybrid Contract (3 days onsite)

Location: Mettawa, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Duration: Long-term contract (TBD, strong possibility of extension)

Start Date: Flexible / ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with creative managers, writers, and cross-functional teams to design and update digital and print marketing materials while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Design email campaign layouts in Knak Email Builder and eWizard.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive assets for web banners, social ads, and websites in Figma.
• Design interactive sales aids in InDesign and eWizard for the Veeva CRM platform.
• Produce print materials including brochures, journal ads, product packaging, and event signage using InDesign and Illustrator.
• Visualize clinical data (line charts, bar charts, pie charts, etc.) in InDesign and Illustrator.
• Create digital mockups in Photoshop, retouch images, and optimize assets for both digital and print use.
• Source stock photography and video footage (Getty, Shutterstock, etc.).
• Present design concepts and rationale to large teams and stakeholders.

Requirements (Must-Haves):

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Advertising, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of professional experience developing digital and print marketing materials
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, UI/UX skills, and expertise across omni-channel campaigns (email, websites, social, print)
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Mettawa, IL
• High initiative, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and openness to constructive feedback

Nice-to-Haves (Not Required):

• Pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry experience
• Experience with Knak, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or eWizard (training provided)
• Ability to work occasional overtime for time-sensitive projects
• Recent graduates are welcome to apply
