Overview

The selected candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications used across schools, districts, and communities. These systems are used to measure and analyze academic performance and socio-emotional learning, especially for special populations such as students with disabilities, multilingual learners, and students in temporary housing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage UX/UI design deliverables from requirements gathering to development handoff
  • Conduct user research and create research artifacts (personas, journey maps, etc.)
  • Develop wireframes to define product features and information architecture
  • Build interactive prototypes using UX/UI tools
  • Perform and oversee user testing to validate design decisions
  • Analyze user feedback and data to improve user experience
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation
  • Write and modify basic JavaScript for UI improvements
  • Maintain project documentation using tools like SharePoint and Jira
  • Stay updated with latest UX/UI trends, responsive design, and accessibility standards
  • Contribute to design systems and UX/UI best practices

Required any UX/UI design certification


Mandatory Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design
  • Previous experience with Educational agency Needed
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in user research and related deliverables such as:
  • Personas
  • Journey Maps
  • Interview Guides
  • Research Documentation
  • Hands-on experience with UX/UI tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD
  • Experience in creating user-centered designs and prototypes
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 / 2.1)
