The Universal Banker/Teller position is responsible for providing customers with friendly, efficient, and professional service in an accurate and timely manner at all times by processing account transactions, cross-selling the Bank’s products and services, opening, maintaining and closing of all account types, and promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff. This position is responsible for managing and balancing a cash drawer in an accurate manner.
This role will be filled at either the Universal Teller or Universal Banker level. Candidates with prior banking experience, lending knowledge or advanced sales skills may be considered for the Universal Banker Level, while entry-level or developing candidates may be considered for the Universal Teller level. The final job title, scope of responsibilities, and compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, qualifications, and business needs.
This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm out of our St. Paul branch. This position is responsible for proactively identifying the needs of current and prospective customers in an efficient, professional and timely manner. May have to refer customers to other departments of Coulee Bank when necessary, in a professional and effective manner.

A Day in the Life of a Banker
You are the main point of contact for customers opening new accounts as well as consumer loans. You will also handle account maintenance, trouble shoot account issues, and assist with any other customer inquiries. Also, you are able and willing to help your co-workers in the teller line if they require it. And, most of all, you can have pride in working to grow the bank through proactive sales activities both inside and outside the bank!

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of teller/banking experience. In addition, your written and oral communications skills are top notch and will help you to listen and identify customer’s financial needs to better support their financial growth. You are a problem-solver that is not afraid to make a decision and are able to take initiative without being asked.

Pay Range: The likely salary range for this position is: $18.50 -$26.00/hr plus incentives and potential for annual bonus. The estimated hiring range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons. Salary will be determined based on experience and could fall outside of this range.
