Description Centennial Technologies is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Junior Sales / Business Development Associate to support business development, pipeline growth, and client engagement activities. This role will focus on identifying opportunities, supporting capture efforts, and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to build a career in federal sales and business development within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Requirements Support identification and tracking of new business opportunities across federal agencies and partners Assist in maintaining and updating the business development pipeline, including opportunity research and qualification Conduct market research to identify potential clients, partners, and upcoming opportunities Support outreach efforts including emails, LinkedIn engagement, and meeting coordination with prospective clients Assist in preparing business development materials such as capability statements, presentations, and briefings Coordinate and support meetings, capture activities, and follow-ups with clients and partners Maintain accurate records of interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activities in CRM or tracking tools Support proposal and capture teams with administrative and coordination tasks as needed Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and key metrics Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or related roles (internships acceptable) Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional presence Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to conduct research, synthesize information, and communicate insights clearly Self‑motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in a client‑facing role Must be a U.S. Citizen Preferred Qualifications Exposure to federal contracting, government sales, or professional services environment Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or pipeline tracking tools (e.g., GovWin, SAM.gov) Experience supporting proposals, capture efforts, or client engagement activities Interest in growing into capture management, account management, or sales leadership roles Work Conditions Location: Hybrid – 4 days onsite in Tysons Corner, VA (DC Metro candidates preferred: VA, DC, MD) Job Type: Full‑time Benefits & Perks Medical and Vision Insurance – Centennial covers 80% of employee and family premium costs, making high‑quality healthcare affordable Dental Insurance – 100% employer‑paid coverage for employees Short‑Term and Long‑Term Disability Insurance – Fully employer‑paid, providing financial security and peace of mind Life Insurance – Company‑paid coverage to support you and your family 401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer Match – A competitive plan to support your long‑term financial goals Paid Time Off and Federal Holidays – Generous PTO program and 11 paid federal holidays Metro Reimbursement – Transportation benefits to help offset commuting costs Centennial offers a highly competitive benefits package that protects your family, rewards your future, and supports your work‑life balance.
