Key Responsibilities Define the product experience for Data at Roblox, shaping the tools and products that Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and ML Engineers use daily. Pioneer the "Agentic Experience" (AX) for Data by creating LLM‑powered interfaces that transform how engineers interact with complex data and compute primitives. Lead end‑to‑end UX design for our massive Analytics Data and Machine Learning platforms, turning backend complexity into frictionless, self‑service workflows. Audit and unify a fragmented landscape of developer tools into a cohesive, elegantly crafted platform that engineers actually want to use. Collaborate closely with product managers and infrastructure engineers to navigate deep technical constraints without compromising user experience or design fidelity. Set and enforce a gold standard for usability, interaction design, and visual polish within the enterprise layer, proving that internal tools deserve consumer‑grade care. Qualifications 5+ years of product design experience, solving complex, systems‑level problems in highly technical environments. Domain expertise in data analytics, machine learning, cloud infrastructure, or developer tooling, with comfort in backend engineering concepts. Experience in AI/LLM design, defining interfaces for agentic workflows, AI assistants, or intelligent automation, and understanding user trust and control in AI‑driven products. Expert‑level command of modern design stacks, with high fluency in complex Figma environments and seamless integration of AI‑augmented workflows. A profound care for the final product, obsessed with craft and constantly refining until the coded experience feels inevitable, effortless, and beautifully resolved.
