Region Purchasing Director

to spearhead our procurement operations and drive regional excellence. As a key leader within our organization, you will bridge the gap between global strategy and regional execution, ensuring that our purchasing families are optimized for productivity, quality, and innovation. You will be the architect of the regional purchasing strategy (Mexico and US), ensuring it aligns perfectly with both regional business needs and Group-level commodity goals. Your focus will be on guaranteeing that every site within your region meets its productivity and supplier quality compliance.

Strategic Alignment:

Define and implement regional purchasing strategies while actively contributing to the Group strategy by highlighting regional constraints and opportunities. Productivity Leadership:

Execute a robust yearly productivity plan to meet global and site-specific targets. Supplier Quality & Compliance:

Own the regional supplier quality performance and partner with the Quality department to manage action plans. Strategic Partnerships:

Cultivate relationships with strategic suppliers to secure competitive advantages for the Company.

Professional Experience: Senior Leadership:

10–15+ years of experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain, with at least 5 years in a management or director-level role. Automotive Expertise:

Proven background in the automotive industry (Tier 1 or Tier 2) is highly preferred, with a deep understanding of OEM requirements and standards. Strategic Sourcing:

Demonstrated success in developing and implementing complex purchasing strategies for specific product families/commodities across multiple sites.

Education & Skills: Academic Background:

Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management (an MBA is a plus). Compliance Knowledge:

Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards, HSE regulations, and international anti-corruption compliance.
