As a Senior Associate in our Sales & Use Tax Consulting practice, you will support a wide range of client engagements by helping identify, analyze, and implement Sales & Use Tax planning and consulting solutions. Working in a highly collaborative team environment, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience through research, analysis, and direct client interaction. This role offers hands-on exposure to Sales & Use Tax consulting projects, including planning, audit support, and process improvement initiatives. You will work closely with Managers and Senior Managers to research client issues, communicate findings, and contribute to practical, business-focused solutions. In addition, you will mentor staff and interns, helping build a strong and cohesive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to deepen Sales & Use Tax expertise while developing consulting, communication, and client service skills within a growing SALT practice. Responsibilities

Support Sales & Use Tax consulting engagements, including tax planning, research, audit support, and implementation projects Research Sales & Use Tax issues across multiple jurisdictions and clearly communicate findings and recommendations to Managers and Senior Managers Participate in client meetings and assist with preparing client deliverables, presentations, and analyses Help identify potential Sales & Use Tax opportunities and risks for clients through data analysis and review Collaborate closely with engagement teams to resolve client issues and deliver timely, high-quality work Mentor and support Staff and interns by reviewing work and providing guidance as needed Build strong working relationships with team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment Stay current on Sales & Use Tax developments and proactively share insights with the team Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or other business-related field required; Master's in Taxation or LLM a plus Sales & Use Tax experience preferred CPA eligibility preferred Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or a blended corporate/public tax environment Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal teams and clients Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow Sales & Use Tax expertise Ability to build strong team relationships and contribute positively to a collaborative environment Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods and travel to client sites as needed We expect the candidate to uphold Crowe's values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,500.00 - $149,600.00 per year.
