Marketing Intern
River Valley Power & Sport Marine is hiring a Marketing Intern to support digital marketing, social media marketing, content creation, and brand campaigns. This entry-level marketing internship is ideal for students or recent graduates seeking hands-on experience in marketing, social media management, photography, videography, and digital advertising. This role provides direct experience in social media strategy, content creation, email marketing, event marketing, and market research within the marine and powersports industry. Key Responsibilities: Create and manage social media content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Capture product photography and create visual content for digital marketing campaigns Film and edit video content for social media marketing and online advertising Design marketing materials including signage, promotions, and digital ads Assist with email marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies Support event marketing including boat shows, in-store events, and promotions Conduct market research and analyze marketing trends and customer behavior Collaborate with the marketing team on branding, content strategy, and campaign execution Qualifications: Currently enrolled or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or related field Interest in digital marketing, social media marketing, and content creation Experience with video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar Basic photography, graphic design, or content creation skills preferred Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced marketing environment Work Environment and Schedule: Flexible schedule up to 40 hours per week; part-time and full-time options available Monday through Friday standard business hours with occasional evenings or weekends for events In-office role with travel between locations 12 days per week About River Valley Power & Sport: River Valley Power & Sport is a family-owned marine and powersports dealership serving Rochester, Red Wing, and the Lake Minnetonka area.
