Employee & Labor Relations Analyst I/II

Under general direction, the Employee & Labor Relations Analyst I/II provides labor relations support and acts as agency liaison in the areas of discipline and grievances; conducts workplace investigations and drafts investigatory reports; drafts and reviews disciplinary documents, reviews and interprets collective bargaining agreements/memorandums of agreements; and performs other related work as required. The ideal candidate will be an experienced labor relations professional who is self-motivated with an aptitude for independent judgment, and a critical thinker with proven ability to take charge of multiple projects at the same time and see them through to completion. Experience performing generalist and/or specialist analytical labor relations work such as conducting workplace investigations and drafting discipline documents within a unionized public sector environment is highly desired. In addition, the ideal candidate for this position will enjoy working in a very fast-paced, dynamic environment, and have the proven ability to collaborate with various groups. Payroll Title: Personnel Analyst I/II Approximate Salary: Personnel Analyst I: $85,882.14- $120,246.78 annually Personnel Analyst II: $98,323.00 - $137,665.71 annually The eligible list established from this recruitment will be used to fill current and future Regular (including Temporary and Fixed-term), Intermittent and Extra Help vacancies for this position or similar positions only. There is currently one (1) Regular vacancy within the County Executive Office. Note: If appointed at the lower level, incumbent may be promoted to the higher level without further examination upon meeting the minimum requirements, demonstrating satisfactory performance, and in accordance with the business needs of the department. Tentative Schedule Opening Date: Monday, April 6, 2026 Closing Date: Continuous and may close at any time; therefore, the schedule for the remainder of the process will depend upon when we receive a sufficient number of qualified applications to meet business needs.
