Responsibilities: Mix paint or stains to customers specification Prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding Secure trim, fixtures, floors, and furniture from paint using drop cloths Treat painted surfaces with primer or sealer Clean up work area once project is finished Assemble scaffolding when required Qualifications: Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods of time, and have physical strength and dexterity Should have general knowledge of painting techniques and tools, but we are willing to provide training Applicants that are detail-oriented and possess strong time management and communications are preferred Preference for candidates with 2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship, but not required Valid drivers license required About Company: Sawtooth Wood Products and Equipment has served the Wood River Valley since 1978 with fencing, log products, and small engine sales and service (snowblowers, lawnmowers, chainsaws, etc.).
