Laborers
to fill our Crack Seal crews. Main Responsibilities
General laborer duties associated with performing crack seal include extended periods of walking, laying materials in accordance with job specs, and cleaning roadway surfaces as needed May operate a variety of equipment and vehicles, including the transportation of construction equipment and materials Will be required to safely maintain traffic control including flagging duties Keep equipment and tools in good working condition Work in a team-oriented environment Perform other duties as assigned to assist the crew Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record CDL preferred, must obtain within one year Previous highway experience preferred, OSHA 10 Hour Training or Flagger Certification a Plus! Required to work varying hours, including nights/weekends, and overnight travel with overnight stays Must be able to travel 75-90% of time Must adhere to our safety practices and procedures at all times Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Regularly required to climb in and out of vehicles and/or equipment Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Regularly required to stand and walk across uneven terrain Culture at Strawser
