
Marketing Specialist

Fit is seeking a marketing specialist for a local financial firm. We are seeking someone who will be responsible for creating marketing content and distributing it effectively. This candidate will create a strong brand presence with innovative promotional offerings, online and offline marketing campaigns, and marketing events. This candidate will collaborate with the sales team to ensure that your marketing efforts support their sales efforts. Pay is in the $60K - $70K range, DOE, plus benefits.
Operational Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for the company and greet clients that come into the office.
Answer multi-line phone with a friendly and professional tone, directing callers to the appropriate personnel.
Excellent calendar management skills.
Schedule and prepare documents for client review meetings.
Handle all incoming and outgoing client correspondence.
Maintain an organized and efficient filling system.
Provide outstanding client service while demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
Practice active listening and rapport building to gain a thorough understanding of client needs while documenting client meeting conversations into the Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
Assist advisors with other projects as needed.
Occasionally run deliver paperwork to clients (mileage covered).
Ordering and stocking office supplies.
Marketing Responsibilities:
Manage/create content for all social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn & Instagram).
Monthly reporting to track progress and trends across social media platforms.
Manage company website and Google Business Page.
Assist supervisor with event planning and execution (client appreciation events, seminars, etc.).
Run monthly mailing/email campaigns.
Responsible for all advertising/sponsorship opportunities – this includes updating ads with current partners and researching new opportunities.
Ordering and stocking marketing/promotional materials.
Attend bi-weekly meetings with our marketing partners to ensure we are on track with current goals and discuss new ideas/opportunities to improve/expand our marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Associates degree required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Marketing and social media.
Experience in the financial services industry preferred (not required).
Willingness to learn the fundamentals of the Investment Industry, Securities, and Insurance.
Professional self-starter, excellent attention to detail, excellent verbal & grammatical skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, Canva & CRM software.
