Marketing & Proposal Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and organized Marketing & Proposal Specialist to join our marketing and business development team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and crafting compelling proposals that showcase our team's expertise, capabilities, and proposed project approach to prospective clients. This role requires a blend of research, organization, persuasive writing, and communication skills. Primary Responsibilities: Support company marketing efforts (e.g. social media, events support, internal marketing, copywriting, communications). Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather, organize, and edit both general and technical information and insights for proposal development. Draft, edit, and organize select portions of proposals, technical documents, "sources sought" responses and other related materials with support from group managers, graphic design staff, and technical content experts. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to review and refine proposal content, incorporating feedback and revisions, as necessary. Manage proposal timelines, milestones, and deadlines to ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals. Secondary Responsibilities: Support business development and marketing initiatives through various other avenues/tasks. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, English, writing, or related field. At least 3 years of experience in architecture, engineering, and/or construction (AEC) proposal writing or a related role, preferably within the Alaska market. Ability to read and understand Request for Proposal (RFP) structure, scoring criteria, and response requirements. Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to organize and format written content from multiple contributors into a singular unified proposal. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of teammates, from technical engineers to creative design staff. Proficiency in MS Office suite.
