We are seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst to support senior leaders on high-impact data and technology initiatives for a major financial services client. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data, and technology, with a primary focus on developing executive-level strategy and decision-support materials.
The Senior Strategy Analyst will operate as a thought partner to senior stakeholders, structuring ambiguous problems, synthesizing complex inputs, and translating analysis into clear narratives and recommendations. While the role is presentation- and strategy-led, a strong grounding in data, data architecture, and modern technology platforms is required to ensure rigor and credibility behind the work.
Key Responsibilities Develop executive-level strategy, insights, and decision-support presentations Structure and analyze complex, ambiguous business and technology problems Synthesize inputs from business, data, and technology teams into clear recommendations Partner with senior leaders to shape strategic narratives and messaging Support data, digital, and technology transformation initiatives with strong analytical rigor Ensure strategy materials are grounded in a solid understanding of data and technology concepts
Qualifications
Proven experience creating executive-level strategy or decision-support presentations Strong problem-solving and structuring skills, with the ability to operate in ambiguous environments Solid understanding of data, technology, and modern data platforms sufficient to engage credibly with technical teams Experience supporting data, digital, or technology transformation initiatives Advanced PowerPoint skills with a strong eye for structure, clarity, and storytelling Ability and willingness to work onsite in McLean, VA, five days per week
Preferred Experience
Financial services or mortgage-domain experience Background supporting large-scale data or technology transformation programs Experience working directly with senior executives or C-level stakeholders Consulting, strategy, or analytics background
