The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, relationship-driven In-House Sales Manager to oversee incoming business from established house accounts while also driving new client development. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining strong client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from inquiry through delivery. The ideal candidate understands the pace and complexity of custom apparel, screen printing, embroidery, promotional products, and merchandising -- and brings both a consultative sales approach and a strong operational mindset. The Role The In-House Sales Manager will be responsible for managing inbound sales activity across existing house accounts while also identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities. This individual will act as a trusted point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless experience across quoting, production coordination, follow-up, and account growth. Job Responsibilities Manage all inbound sales inquiries and ongoing business from established house accounts Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service, communication, and ongoing account support Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and expand existing account partnerships Prospect and develop new business opportunities across apparel, promotional products, embroidery, screen printing, and merchandising services Develop and implement strategic sales plans designed to drive revenue growth, improve product assortment, and increase customer satisfaction Lead sales activities across all major accounts and new business opportunities, acting as the primary liaison for buying teams and key decision makers Prepare quotes, proposals, pricing recommendations, and sales presentations Consult with accounts and clients on design direction, product concepts, branding, merchandise development, and overall creative strategy Partner with clients and internal teams to build and launch e-commerce stores for accounts, including product assortment, branding, and promotional strategy Monitor sales performance, customer activity, and market trends, providing regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership Partner closely with internal production, warehouse, leadership, and e-commerce teams to ensure timely delivery and create scalable, brand-aligned sales materials Service existing accounts with a high level of responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, orders, and follow-up activity Represent the company with professionalism, urgency, and a solutions-oriented mindset Manage showroom sales activity and represent the brand at regional trade shows throughout the year Attend client meetings, networking events, and industry-related functions as needed Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree preferred 3–7+ years of sales or account management experience within custom apparel, promotional products, screen printing, embroidery, uniforms, branded merchandise, or a related industry Proven ability to manage existing client relationships while developing new business Strong understanding of custom apparel production timelines, pricing, and order flow Experience preparing quotes, managing customer expectations, and closing business Graphic design background or familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred Ability to review artwork, logos, mockups, and branded merchandise concepts with clients Familiarity with Shopify, Chipply, Printavo, ShipStation, Monday.com, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication, presentation, and follow-up skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, relationship-driven, and commercially minded Must be available to work on-site at the company HQ in Clifton, NJ Compensation $65,000 – $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus commission and performance incentives.
