Job Description

The Legal E-Billing Specialist will assist the eBilling Administrator with the implementation and mapping of new and existing clients in Aderant/eBilling Hub, as well as provide support addressing day-to-day eBilling issues and help facilitate approvals and payments and assist the collections team with their follow up on outstanding eBills and navigation of eBilling vendor websites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include assisting the eBilling Administrator with the implementation and mapping of new and existing clients in Aderant/eBilling hub.\nProvide support by minimizing rejections through analyzing invoices.\nResearch rejected invoices and follow-up appropriately.\nResponsible for diversity submissions and timekeeper rate updates/maintenance.\nUtilize various eBilling platforms.\nAddress day-to-day eBilling issues and facilitate approvals and payments.\nMonitor accruals, budgets and eBilling submissions to meet deadlines.\nAssist collection team with follow up on outstanding eBills and navigate through eBilling vendor websites.\nEnsure the Firm's policies are consistently, and properly applied and special projects as assigned.\nREQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related experience, preferably in a large legal services or professional services organization.\nKnowledge of effective legal billing procedures and of computerized legal billing systems and electronic online billing applications (Aderant Expert) is a plus.\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office.\nStrong typing/keyboard skills and able to use a 10-key calculator by touch.\nAbility to self-direct, prioritize tasks and work with minimum supervision and with individuals at all levels of the organization.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail and the willingness to work as part of a team are highly desired.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.\nAbility to lift up to 20 pounds.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Perform highly complex (senior-level) information security and cybersecurity analysis work. Work involves monitoring security measures for information systems and infrastructures to regulate access to computer configuration and data files and to prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information. Work also involves protecting cybersecurity assets and delivering cybersecurity incident detection, incident response, threat assessment, cyber intelligence, software security, and vulnerability assessment services. May plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Implement new incident response plan, privacy policy, and data classification requirements for the agency and oversees the work of teams

between 4-10 people.

2. Assist with the development of plans to safeguard computer configuration and data files against accidental or unauthorized modification,

destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs.

3. Monitor and analyze cybersecurity alerts from incident detection given from cybersecurity tools, network devices, and information systems. Takes

preventative measures based on outcome from the analysis of the alert.

4. Perform technical risk assessments and reviews of account permissions, computer data access needs, security violations, programming changes,

and new and existing applications and systems, including data center physical security and environment.

5. Monitor systems and procedures to protect data systems and databases from unauthorized access.

6. Train users and promote security awareness to ensure system security and improve application, server, and network efficiency.

7. Perform forensic analysis of information systems and portable devices and forensic recovery of data using assessment tools.

8. Attend work regularly and observe approved work hours in accordance with agency leave and attendance policies.

9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:

Education

- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university required, with a major and/or emphasis of computer science, information technology or a related field is preferred.

Experience

- Minimum of three (3) years' experience performing cybersecurity analysis, information security analysis, or information assurance with a concentration in SOC Analyst is required.

Substitution Note: Additional work experience of the type described or other related education may be substituted for one another on a year-for-year basis.

Licensure and/or Certification

- One or more of the following certifications:

a. CEH, CSA+, CCNA Security, ECSA, CND, VCP, SSCP, GIAC (Any), CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC

This list is not all inclusive. Alternative certifications may be accepted at the discretion of management.

Note: Certifications from a higher tier may also be substituted.

If driving is required, must possess a valid driver license from state of residence.

Critical Organizational Infrastructure requirements

- This job may be responsible for conducting research on, working on, or having the ability to access critical organizational infrastructure; must be able to maintain the security and integrity of the infrastructure related to this role. Additionally, and more specifically, must not be employed by nor have any connection or continuous connections to any governmental entity or political apparatus of a country listed in 15 C.F.R. §791.4.

Regulatory knowledge

- Working knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly assimilate information related to TXDPS, State and Federal regulations, legislation, guidelines, policies and procedures.
