Audit Supervisor - Public Sector
Weaver's Public Sector Audit team is looking to add an Audit Supervisor Public Sector to join their growing team. The Audit Supervisor leads day-to-day fieldwork and sections of multiple public sector audits, ensuring high-quality execution, technical compliance, and team development. This role owns planning, risk assessment, and supervision; reviews complex areas; and is a key contact for client controllers, CFOs, grants managers, and business officers. To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 4-5 years of experience of public accounting experience CPA candidate Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAS, GASB, internal controls, and documentation standards GAGAS (Yellow Book) experience and Uniform Guidance/Single Audit leading experience Experience leading state and local government audits and other public sector engagements (governmental entities, educational institutions, or nonprofits) Demonstrated supervisory experience Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional client service Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred: Master's degree in Accounting or related field CPA strongly preferred Weaver Benefits At Weaver, our most valuable resource is our people.
