What You Will Get To Do:
Perform daily and monthly commercial loan servicing and accounting activities, including loan balance and general ledger reconciliations, amortization schedules, accruals, and servicing-related reporting Process and review loan cash transactions such as borrower payments, payoffs, escrow disbursements, investor sales, and other servicing events in accordance with client and regulatory requirements Monitor loan-related cash accounts and reconcile borrower payments, resolving exceptions and servicing discrepancies in a timely manner Set up newly originated or purchased loans in SS&C loan servicing systems, ensuring accurate data capture and seamless onboarding for borrowers and clients Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and clients, responding to inquiries related to loan activity, balances, payment application, and servicing status Assist in the preparation, reconciliation, and review of quarterly and annual NAIC Schedule B regulatory reporting packages Track, collect, and maintain loan collateral and compliance documentation, including rent rolls, operating statements, covenants, and client deliverables Generate and distribute loan notices and borrower communications, including billing statements, maturity notices, late payment notices, payoff statements, and other servicing correspondence Support new client implementations and transitions, including data validation, system testing, and coordination with client stakeholders to ensure service expectations are met What You Will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 36 years of experience in commercial loan servicing, loan accounting, insurance, or commercial real estate lending environments Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS, with experience supporting NAIC reporting Experience with investment or loan general ledger accounting strongly preferred Client-service mindset with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal partners and external clients Ability to work independently while managing multiple servicing deliverables and client deadlines Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills Basic proficiency in Microsoft SQL is a plus
