Job Title: Senior Salesforce Functional Business Analyst (Consultant)
Location:
Remote (Preference for candidates local to Parsippany, NJ for occasional onsite meetings) Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong Salesforce experience to support enterprise initiatives. This role is focused on gathering business requirements, defining user stories and use cases, modeling processes, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver system enhancements and new capabilities. This is a functional role, not overly technical, and requires strong collaboration across multiple business units. Key Responsibilities 70%
Work with stakeholders across the organization to understand current processes, systems, and opportunities for improvement and capture requirements through interviews, workshops, and other discovery methods Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, workflows, and process diagrams (AS-IS / TO-BE) Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define and implement solutions Provide guidance on best practices and process improvements Document current and future state using functional requirements, user stories, wireframes, workflows, and presentations for both business and technical audiences 20%
Partner with development (onshore/offshore) and QA teams to ensure proper system testing and delivery Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) 5%
Provide guidance, review work, and offer feedback to team members 5%
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or related field Strong experience as a Salesforce Functional Business Analyst (Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud is a plus) Experience working in cross-functional environments Proven ability to gather and document requirements in a B2B environment Strong experience with business process design and workflow analysis Experience working with large datasets and enterprise systems Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes Experience with tools such as Jira Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Experience Cloud Experience in manufacturing or similar industries Familiarity with ERP systems and system integrations Experience with tools such as Lucidchart and Google Workspace CBAP or similar certification
