You are a determined and enthusiastic education professional who will act as the director, communicating and building relationships with families, supervising a team of education professionals, and assisting employees in succeeding in their roles. What You'll Do

Academy Performance - Assist in the planning and implementation of goal setting by integrating current education and special education best practices Compliance - Ensure services are in compliance with professional standards as well as state and federal regulatory requirements Supervision - Supervise, manage, and evaluate education staff at all Hope Academy locations, conducting monthly check-in visits to ensure student progress and compliance External Communication - Communicate effectively and regularly with faculty, staff, parents and students and document in accordance with Hope's policies and procedures Other responsibilities as assigned. What You'll Need

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, special education, or other related degree field (required) Master's degree in education, special education, or other related degree field (preferred) Pennsylvania special education training certification Supervisory experience in a school setting Experience working with individuals with developmental delays Clearances & Training Required Act 33 PA child abuse history clearance Act 34 PA state criminal history clearance Act 114 FBI clearance issued by the Dept of Education Act 126 mandated reporter training certificate Act 168 from previous employers where you came into contact with children State license of practice and/or certification CPR/First Aid TB/Physical What We Offer
