Campaign Manager

Nolef Turns Inc, Richmond, VA, United States

Job Description

Job Description

Nolef Turns, Inc. seeks a Campaign Manager to manage and coordinate c3 advocacy and voter education work around the upcoming restoration of rights constitutional amendment. In 2016, Nolef Turns Inc. founded the Right to Vote (RTV) Coalition to build a network of resources for individuals with court and justice involvement to thrive post-conviction. In its current form, RTV is comprised of multiple state-based and national organizations, representing voting rights, criminal legal reform, directly-impacted Virginians, and others. RTV's goal is to amend Virginia's constitution to include automatic, clear, and fair restoration of voting rights of those who have served their time for felony convictions. Virginia is one of three remaining Confederate states whose constitution still permanently takes away the right to vote for all returning citizens with past felony convictions. This affects Virginians in every part of the state and across the political spectrum: over 4% of eligible Virginian voters - 2.5x the national average - remain permanently stripped of their fundamental civil rights. You can learn more at https://restorevoteva.org/. Role Description: The Campaign Manager will be responsible for leading all of Nolef Turns Inc's work around the amendment.
