Job Title UX Designer III

Start Date ASAP

Contract Length 3+ months, with potential extension based on need

Location Remote placement available; preference for Seattle‑based candidates

Hours 40 hours/week, no overtime, Monday‑Friday 8:00‑5:00 core hours

Pay Range $60‑68 per hour

Team & Key Projects The contract will serve the Outbound program, responsible for email (push) and WhatsApp channels. Key responsibilities include:

Creating presentations for major campaigns (Outbound owns emails and push)

Overseeing production of outbound content (30% of overall workload)

Supporting internal tooling initiatives

Responsibilities

Develop email notifications and other outbound content

Work on an internal tool to streamline design processes

Create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups quickly and thoroughly to communicate interactions

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define business and feature requirements based on empirical data, usability findings, market research, and UCD principles

Assess and optimize feature performance through usability testing and analytics using Omniture SiteCatalyst

Present design work to the user experience team, product stakeholders, and senior executives for review and feedback

Contribute to best practices and standards for UI design and development

Drive leadership in e‑commerce trends, web application design, and UI innovations

Must‑Have Skills

Proficiency in Figma

Experience in e‑commerce design

Strong UX designer skills, including interaction design for web and software

Main Qualifications

7+ years of experience as a UX designer or interaction designer

Prior experience providing interaction design solutions for web and/or software applications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in design, human‑computer interaction, or related field

Knowledge of web‑based information architecture, usability principles, and techniques

Proficiency with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver

Strong online portfolio showcasing past work and user‑centered design solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills for conveying complex design concepts across audiences

Self‑starter who is customer‑obsessed, detail‑oriented, and enthusiastic team player

Ability to work with highly technical teams and juggle multiple projects in an agile, fast‑paced environment

Experience prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, or CSS; Flash skills are highly desired

Fit

Experience in marketing and outbound marketing channels

Understanding of complex admin tools

Strong UX skills, including conversational commerce, AI, and e‑commerce experience

Experience with social media platforms
