Job Description

Maintains broad knowledge of company policies, benefit plan documents, and legal and regulatory updates. Applies documented procedures, policies, and reference materials to accurately resolve employee inquiries. Analyzes enrollment reports and resolves related issues. Processes benefit plan enrollments and terminations. Manages benefit changes for employees on unpaid leave. Updates benefit-related premium adjustments in Payroll. Tracks, investigates, updates, and closes cases within the case management tool. Other duties as assigned. Acts as a subject matter expert in managing benefit documents, workflows, and employee inquiries. Provides guidance on benefit plan information to employees and dependents. Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of company policies, benefit plan documents, and regulatory updates Resolve employee inquiries by applying documented procedures and reference materials Analyze enrollment reports and resolve related issues Process benefit plan enrollments and terminations Manage benefit changes for employees on unpaid leave Update benefit-related premium adjustments in Payroll Track, investigate, update, and close cases in the case management tool Perform other duties as assigned Serve as a subject matter expert in benefit documents, workflows, and employee inquiries Provide guidance on benefit information to employees and dependents Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge and understanding of general benefits administration, including state and federal regulations surrounding FMLA, HIPAA, PPACA (ACA), ERISA and IRS regulations [Required] Ability to collect and evaluate data relating to group health insurance and retirement benefits; ability to research and analyze information and make sound decisions [Required] Skilled in understanding and applying applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to group health insurance and retirement benefits [Required] Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing [Required] Skilled in providing quality customer service, including listening and understanding information, and deescalating issues to resolve complaints with win-win solutions when possible [Required] Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of people to meet goals and objectives [Required] Strong organizational skills, including prioritizing and managing multiple projects while meeting service-level agreements and tight deadlines [Required] Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite [Required] Human Capital Management (HCM) experience, specifically PeopleSoft [Preferred] Education

Bachelor\'s [Preferred] Field Of Study

In a relevant field Work Experience

Experience in a large employer setting with complex and varied benefit programs and policies [Preferred] The equivalent in education and/or related experience [Required] Two years’ experience in support of employer-sponsored group health and welfare programs in a Human Resources team environment [Required] Additional Information
