Key Management Specialist
This position requires an active DoD Secret clearance and will support critical cryptographic operations within the Department of Defense.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance COMSEC infrastructure (EKMS, KMI, MGC, OTNK, SKL, TKL, iApp, JENM, ACES, Atom, End Cryptographic Units).
Review, analyze, and contribute to the creation of Key and Certificate Management Plans (KCMPs), specifications, standards, and documentation.
Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and use cases to ensure reliability and effectiveness of key management systems.
Test and evaluate emerging COMSEC Key Management technologies and solutions.
Serve as a key liaison with vendors and DoD stakeholders, including presenting to senior leadership.
Participate in and support Army, DoD, and NSA Key Management Working Groups.
Qualifications
Active DoD Secret clearance.
Demonstrated expertise with COMSEC infrastructure and related technologies.
Experience reviewing and developing KCMPs, standards, and implementation guidance.
Excellent analytical and technical writing skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Comfortable operating within a laboratory setting.
Pay Range $82,700 - 173,900 USD
