TEMPORARY SQUAD LEADER FOR SUMMER BLAST

Crooked River Elementary
Start date & hours:
June 29, 2026 to July 23, 2026 (June 16, training day); 6.5 hours per day with a 30 minute unpaid lunch; 4 days a week (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday); 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Requirements Must be high energy and a self-starter. Must have social security card and photo ID, and be able to pass criminal history background check and pre-employment drug screening (if over 18). Must be at least 15 years of age.
Description To assist teaching staff in performing necessary instructional and supervisory tasks. Reports to designated teacher or administrator.
Essential Functions
Under the direction of the Teacher, oversees and when appropriate directs student activities, both individual and group related.
Set out and put away instructional material required by the Teacher.
Supervises playground activities at recess or noon breaks, cafeterias and hallways.
Assists in student management.
Able to learn assigned tasks readily, with minimal supervision, and follow established routines and procedures.
Fulfill other related duties as assigned.
Fulfill working conditions and physical effort listed below.
Minimum Qualifications
Able to relate well to students, staff and public.
Read, understand and carry out written and/or oral instructions.
Adhere to the federal requirements of a drug-free work place.
Basic knowledge of school rules and procedures.
Basic knowledge of computer technology and other equipment used in the work place, as required by the position.
Ability to communicate accurately with others through both speaking and writing skills using correct grammar and/or spelling.
Working Conditions And Physical Requirements
Length of Work Year: Days to be assigned. Length of Work Day: To be assigned
Possess the physical ability to regularly attend work and fulfill the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Work is both inside and outdoors. It can be physically and emotionally demanding and requires the employee to stand, walk or kneel (could be in inclement weather).
Works closely with students and can be physically and emotionally demanding.
Responsibilities may require the employee to stand, walk or kneel.
