Overview
Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: Illinois | Exempt | Salary: $72,800 – $97,988
We are seeking a strategic, resolution-oriented, high-energy Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to partner with executives and senior leaders across our Illinois healthcare facilities. This onsite role offers the flexibility to work at any of our 9 regional facilities and provides direct exposure to regional leadership. The HRBP will report directly to the Regional HR Director and play a key role in driving HR initiatives, supporting acquisitions, and assisting with HR department start-ups.
Responsibilities
Lead HR projects that support organizational growth, acquisitions, and HR department start-ups.
Partner with executives to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business priorities.
Assist in building HR functions for new facilities, including onboarding, training, and workforce planning.
Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and compliance, with expertise in Illinois and federal employment laws.
Support talent acquisition, retention, and development across the region.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, programs, and policies.
Apply critical thinking and resolution-oriented problem solving to complex HR challenges.
Serve as a trusted advisor to regional leadership and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or closely related field required.
PHR, SPHR or relevant Human Resources certifications or advanced degree, preferred.
5 years’ experience in Human Resources required, with focus on employee relations and/or labor relations experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining processes.
Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of material with attention to detail.
Computer knowledge that includes Excel, Word, Outlook.
