As the

Commercial Service Account Manager , you will be responsible for pursuing opportunities for service agreements, quick-turn projects to keep our customers operating effectively, and pursuing large opportunities that help customers modernize their equipment. This role is a great fit for someone who excels at building relationships, provides outstanding customer service, and enjoys working with cross-functional teams. It is ideal for those who can assess and understand both the immediate and future needs of customers.

Responsibilities

Sell the full portfolio of Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions (i.e., service agreements, repairs and modernizations).

Create and maintain Sales Territory and Account plans where necessary.

Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunities.

Promote Carrier value proposition linking customer objectives to Carrier solutions.

Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipeline.

Attract new customers and build share value with existing customers.

Seek out and access new service agreement opportunities with existing and new prospect customers, and respond to repair opportunities.

Establish credibility with knowledge of Carrier products/solutions and develop lasting customer relationships.

Clearly articulate the value of Carrier’s offerings and how they map to customer needs.

Assess the Customer’s buying stage and adjust selling accordingly; deliver effective presentations and communications.

Prioritize best opportunities and respond to customer requirements in a timely manner.

Obtain bookings and orders in a timely manner and consistently achieve sales metrics and annual targets.

Effectively negotiate service agreement renewals when required.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

2+ years of sales experience within the HVAC services or building automation industry.

Must be able to lift/carry 20 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and be comfortable working on roofs/platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Extremely comfortable operating in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft-based software.

Strong sales
egotiation skills with goal orientation, time management, and organizational skills.

Demonstrated written, verbal and presentation skills to develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.

Ability to sell directly to end-user customers and sell service agreements.

Demonstrates ability to cross-sell and upsell within existing customer base.

Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment; self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Demonstrates ability to proactively identify opportunities for preventative repair/upgrade packages.

Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 and $158,000.00. Factors which may affect pay within this range include skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
