
Import Trade Compliance PM, Robotics Trade Strategy

Overview
The Robotics Trade Strategy (RTS) team is looking for a talented Import Trade Compliance Program Manager with a strong delivery record and leadership experience to own and execute strategic, cross‑functional projects.
You will enable new opportunities by executing on a broad range of project management, program management and trade compliance matters. You will work directly to support business leadership, tax, legal, inventory management, procurement teams, logistics, and other internal business partners and external vendors to drive projects that address critical business and regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will build trade compliance solutions across cross‑functional teams, earn trust with stakeholders, drive alignment, and build consensus. You will balance risk and customer experience, test assumptions, and work with business intelligence engineers and technology teams to design, build, and track KPI systems.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Amazon’s regional teams to execute strategy, drive and enforce import processes across North America, and identify opportunities for automation and technology enablement.
Engage with customs brokers and carriers for managing trade‑compliance related queries and providing efficient and swift resolutions.
Monitor, analyze, and propose duty optimization opportunities, including the use of FTAs, FTZs, bonded warehouses, and duty drawback programs.
Work with cross‑functional teams, communicate with colleagues in both business and technical roles, and develop processes that drive scale with strong analytical skills in establishing and tracking program metrics.
Present organized plans to articulate the problem statement, the recommended solution, and milestones.
Manage robust engagement with internal support‑function teams to ensure efficient compliance, audit, communication and operation mechanisms for the program.
Analyze trends related to import/export processing requirements to identify process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years of supply‑chain management experience (e.g., logistics, inventory turn management, forecasting, operations).
Experience creating reports, interpreting metrics and driving overall insights or analysis.
Proficiency in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to executives and non‑technical leaders.
Experience in trade compliance, customs operations, customs brokerage, supply chain, logistics or similar.
Experience leading process improvements or operations tool implementations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with industrial robotics.

USA, MA, Westboro – $74,200.00 – $129,800.00 USD annually.
