MSRC is seeking a Director of Growth & Expansion to be responsible for driving business growth, pipeline development, and strategic partnerships across the company. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, leading capture efforts, building a strong pipeline, and expanding customer relationships across Department of War (DoW) and federal agencies. The Director works closely with leadership to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and win new business for the organization. Duties And Responsibilities
Growth & Business Development
Develop and manage a qualified pipeline aligned with company capabilities and revenue goals.
Identify and pursue new opportunities across DoW, IC, and federal markets.
Support and lead capture efforts from qualification through award.
Capture & Proposal Leadership
Lead capture strategy for priority opportunities.
Apply structured capture methodologies (e.g., Shipley) to improve consistency and results.
Oversee proposal development, teaming, and review processes.
Improve opportunity probability of wins through early engagement, solution shaping, and competitive positioning.
Strategic Partnerships
Build and manage relationships with key partners, including primes and small businesses.
Lead teaming agreements and define partner roles and value propositions.
Strengthen partnerships to improve competitiveness and access to new opportunities.
Customer Engagement
Maintain and grow relationships with existing government customers.
Engage new customers to understand mission needs and align solutions.
Represent the company in customer meetings, industry events, and briefings.
Collaboration
Work closely with technical and operations teams to develop winning solutions.
Align growth efforts with delivery capabilities and operational priorities.
Education
Master's degree required in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Job Qualifications
20+ years of experience in business development, capture, or growth within federal contracting.
Proven success winning government contracts, including large, complex pursuits.
Experience supporting DoW, IC, or federal civilian agencies.
Strong understanding of capture, proposal, and teaming processes.
Background in Engineering services, IT, or cyber preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
Additional Requirements
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Candidate must currently possess and be able to maintain an active top secret security clearance.
