
Sr. Mgr, Strategy & Business Operations

We need a high-reaching Sr. Manager, Financial Services Strategy & Operations based in San Jose.
Responsibilities
Serve as the strategic inspiring leader to the Global Financial Services leadership team and act as a close, trusted advisor to the Financial Services General Manager (GM).
Conduct deep dives on high-priority strategic topics, focusing on revenue generation, market opportunity analysis, and risk mitigation.
Aggregate and analyze performance data from various Financial Products to build a unified, executive-ready view of the portfolio's health.
Develop and own executive-ready presentations on strategy and operational updates, including performance against regulatory benchmarks.
Ensure operational consistency, process rigor, and alignment across the global portfolio for compliance and scalability.
Track and report portfolio health through Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs) to eBay global leadership teams.
Partner closely with central Strategy & Business Operations and Product Leads to manage interdependencies across the FinTech ecosystem, driving resolution of blocking issues and prioritization as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Legal and Compliance, to ensure alignment with eBay teams and global regulatory initiatives.
Requirements
10+ years of related experience, including 4+ years at a premier management consulting firm, investment bank, or in a strategy or planning role at a major FinTech, e-Commerce, or Retail company.
Industry experience in Financial Services, e-commerce, Payments, or retail is highly preferred.
BA/BS or equivalent experience required; MBA or similar graduate degree preferred.
Proven business insight and strategic relationship management skills are a plus.
Additional Details The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below: $135,200 - $219,500. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
