
Multimedia Quality/Logistics Manager - Bilingual (Korean/English)

The Multimedia Quality/Logistics Manager is responsible for technical support and logistics to all areas of the Multimedia Plant and providing leadership and guidance to the QC Team Members.
Responsibilities
Manage quality system support across all plant functions to meet customer and IATF 16949 requirements, coordinating closely with Headquarter and suppliers.
Develop and maintain company quality initiatives, including IATF/ISO certification and continuous improvement of quality systems.
Manage PPAP documentation, approvals, and customer communication, acting as a bilingual liaison with Korean suppliers.
Coordinate with process engineering, manufacturing, Korean suppliers, and customers for new product and process launches.
Evaluate nonconforming materials and review supplier quality trends, focusing on Korean-based suppliers.
Control product quality using P-FMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, SPC, Work Instructions, and Quality Alerts.
Lead resolution of supplier quality issues through direct coordination with Korean partners.
Develop and implement Poka-Yoke systems to support quality-focused production.
Conduct internal Layered Process Audits (LPA) and ensure corrective actions are completed.
Manage corrective action processes (8D, 5-Why) and ensure timely internal and external communication in Korean and English.
Make final disposition decisions on questionable products based on drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Manage containment activities, including internal and customer-directed sorting.
Review and approve rework procedures for nonconforming products.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation from U.S. and Korean sources.
Coordinate and perform supplier process audits for qualification and process changes.
Review and approve charge-back and cost recovery claims related to quality issues. Ensure proper use and maintenance of gauges, fixtures, and inspection equipment supplied by Korean manufacturers.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and participate in safety meetings.
Manage overtime planning and control for assigned staff.
Coordinate inbound material flow and outbound shipment activities through on-site oversight.
Support review of shipping and storage agreements through internal on-site coordination.
Support shipping-related RFQs in coordination with Headquarter department.
Evaluate logistics contractors and revise contracts to improve efficiency and cost.
Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours
Overtime and weekend work as required

Qualifications Required Education
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Industrial Engineering, or related field
8 years of experience in automotive manufacturing/assembly
5 years of experience in Quality Control
3 years of experience in Logistics concerning duties
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Strong leadership skills
Must be able to speak fluently in English and Korean
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Proficient communication skills using various technical terms
Proficient automotive knowledge (repair, assembly)
Self-motivated and ability to work rapidly under pressure and time constraints
Working Conditions
90% office and 10% production floor
Traversing around the production floor to inspect processes and parts
Communication with multiple levels of team members
Occasionally lifting 20-30 lbs.
All responsibilities are performed on-site at our Montgomery, Alabama plant. This position has one primary work location, and any global or supplier coordination is conducted from this on-site location.
