Technology Services Technology Services provides all technology infrastructure and support services globally, enabling Ankura's consultants to deliver client engagements efficiently and securely.

Role Overview As an IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst you will assist with planning, creating, tracking, and managing Ankura’s hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle—from inception to procurement and disposal—to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance with regulations and internal policies. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory databases (CMDB), managing vendor contracts, auditing assets, coordinating deployments, ensuring software licensing compliance, and supporting IT efficiency.

Responsibilities

Asset Tracking: Maintain comprehensive inventory records of Ankura’s hardware and software, ensuring proper classification and metadata association.

Lifecycle Management: Assist with the lifecycle of Ankura’s IT assets, including planning, acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.

Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for savings through software reclamation, hardware refreshes, and vendor negotiations.

License Compliance & Auditing: Monitor software license usage, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with vendor contracts.

Procurement & Vendor Management: Assist with purchasing, track vendor contracts, and manage relationships to maximize value.

Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports on asset utilization, costs, and lifecycles to aid decision‑making.

Support & Logistics: Coordinate hardware deployments with Ankura IT Depots globally, assist with software deployments, and manage asset disposal/recycling initiatives.

Process Improvement: Contribute to developing and maintaining ITAM policies, procedures, and workflows for improved efficiency.

Stakeholder Support: Serve as a point of contact for IT procurement, technical teams, and internal customers regarding asset status.

Vendor Collaboration: Work with vendors on purchasing, support renewals, and invoice processing.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of IT asset management tools (e.g., SAM, HAM, AD Manager, Endpoint Central, Service Desk Plus) and CMDB systems.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and manage inventory.

Communication: Cross‑functional collaboration across multiple departments, strong attention to detail, and focus on data quality.

Detail‑Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills to manage, tag, and track large quantities of equipment.

Experience: 2–3+ years in ITAM, SAM, or HAM.

Physical Requirements: Ability to move or lift equipment (up to 25–50 lbs.) for receiving or auditing tasks.

Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Compensation Range (California, Colorado, New York, or other states with pay transparency laws): $50,000 to $120,000. This is a reasonable estimate and does not guarantee a particular wage. Additional benefits are not included in the range.
