Responsibilities
Evaluate and process assigned purchase requests for commodities and contractual services in accordance with Florida Purchasing Policy and departmental procedures.
Determine appropriate purchasing methods and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and policies.
Work closely with program offices and county health departments to meet purchasing requirements in a timely and economical manner.
Perform related duties as required to support departmental procurement activities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
General knowledge of State of Florida purchasing rules and laws.
Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
Problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to change and learn.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with proper grammar.
Ability to work independently, make routing decisions with minimal direction, and work in a team environment.
Attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills.
Qualifications
Willingness to physically attend the office to perform duties and responsibilities.
Preferred: Experience with MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP).
