Avla US Insurance Company is expanding its operations in the United States, leading innovation in the Surety Bond market. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our U.S. team and play a key role in leading Avla’s growth strategy and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the commercial team, ensuring alignment with the business strategy and growth objectives.
Validate broker acquisition, development, and retention strategies in strategic markets.
Continuously monitor dashboards, KPIs, and commercial metrics, analyzing production, pipeline, conversion rates, and overall performance.
Assess the quality of commercial management, identifying gaps, improvement opportunities, and corrective actions.
Contribute to the design and refinement of the commercial strategy, with a focus on market expansion and performance optimization.
Ensure the proper execution of commercial initiatives, campaigns, and growth plans.
Coordinate with the Strategy Management team and the General Manager on commercial and expansion-related decisions.
Propose improvements to processes, commercial tools, and performance tracking models.
Ensure compliance with targets, internal policies, and service standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business development.
3+ years leading commercial teams.
Experience in B2B companies (ideally insurance or related industries).
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master’s degree in Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Knowledge and experience with surety bonds.
