
Premier Relationship Manager

PAY GRADE: EX 55 ($60,405 - $85,000 annually)
AVAILABILITY: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Position Summary: Responsible for acquiring, advising, and retaining a portfolio of Premier clients, working with the Retail Banking, Business and Wealth Management partners to ensure achievement of the business performance measures and plan. The Premier Relationship Manager will be a trusted advisor to clients, actively managing and growing their portfolio by both acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Advises clients regarding advantages and disadvantages of a variety of potential banking solutions either by meeting their needs directly or through other internal business partners.
Maintains a disciplined portfolio management approach and develops strategies to increase wallet share of existing clients while actively managing a prospect pipeline.
Creates and maintains an environment where the broader branch team maximizes performance in achieving Wealth Management objectives.
Regularly meets with clients to collect and analyze information to assess their current and long term needs and help them to achieve financial goals.
Maintains the highest standard of excellence in client services across the team and with individual clients.
Performs ongoing analysis of client portfolios through marketing of ideas and researching clients. Identifies cross-sell opportunities, including referral of customers to other partners though proper client profiling.
Builds a high personal and corporate profile within the community. Develop a network of professional contacts with the goal of introducing new business, enhancing product knowledge and promoting the overall brand.
Identifies and refers wealth solutions to Wealth Management Team to best meet the clients’ needs.
Education & Experience
Bachelor degree in Business or related field required. Five years of recent retail banking experience will be considered in lieu of the degree.
Minimum of 3 years’ proven and progressive financial services and/or retail sales experience or equivalent, including evidence of strong sales results and knowledge of insurance and investment products for referral purposes.
Current FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses required.
Strong relationship management experience with high-net-worth clients.
Strong sales, communication, cross-selling, sales planning, mathematical and analytical skills.
Broad knowledge of financial products and services.
Understanding of business banking customer segment and products appropriate to compliment premier offerings.
A thorough understanding of financial planning, wealth management and understanding client needs.
