Job Description As a Lead Product Designer at Xplor Pay, you will shape the user experience of our cutting‑edge payment products. You will:
Lead
the design strategy for Xplor Pay, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
Collaborate
with the CPO and cross‑functional teams to define product vision and design direction.
Integrate
AI‑powered prototyping tools and methodologies into the product design lifecycle, driving efficiency and innovation in user experience solutions.
Engage
across the entire design process, from concept to launch, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
Conduct
user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
Advocate
for user‑centered design principles and integrate user feedback into design iterations.
Communicate
design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders effectively.
In this role, you may work remotely as long as you are located within the lower 48 states of the US. The average base salary for this role is between $145,000–$165,000 USD.
Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years of experience in UX Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful UX/UI solutions for complex web and mobile applications. Experience in a Lead or Senior role is highly preferred.
Design Expertise:
Mastery of design tools such as Figma and Design Thinking. Proficient in creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, high‑fidelity mockups, research questions, and user surveys.
UX Principles:
Deep understanding of user‑centered design principles, usability heuristics, information architecture, design systems, and interaction design patterns.
Research Acumen:
Experience conducting and synthesizing user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) to inform design decisions.
Technical Understanding:
Solid understanding of front‑end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers about technical constraints and opportunities.
Communication:
Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to diverse audiences.
Problem‑Solving:
Proven ability to break down complex problems into manageable, actionable design solutions.
Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to autonomously lead design initiatives, influence stakeholders, and mentor team members.
Bonus: Experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) and using data to inform design decisions.
Familiarity with the use of AI in design, research, and copy (e.g., Co‑pilot, Figma Make, Miro AI).
Proficiency in front‑end coding (e.g., HTML, CSS) for prototyping or component development.
