We provide strategy, creative and production all under one roof. In addition to our corporate work, we produce original short films and mini-series. Note:

COOL STORY is an end-to-end creative content agency. We produce short-form video for content brands through ongoing partnerships. Our clients stay because the work is strong and the relationship is easy. This role is about going out and finding the brands we want to work with next. COME FOR THE PIPELINE. STAY FOR THE BRAINSTORMS Most sales roles hand you a script and a CRM login and tell you to hit the phones. We want to give you the chance to understand what we do and why we do it. Curious about creative strategy? Sit in on a session. Want to pitch a content idea? Sit in a brainstorm. Want to come on a shoot? Maybe you’ll get to go skydiving with a client (that actually happened.) We’re not here to gatekeep you. The closer you are to the work, the easier it is for you to help potential clients solve problems. You’ll be reaching out to founders, marketing leaders, and decision-makers at growing companies. We’re not looking for someone to pressure people into a demo; we’re looking for someone who actually understands what we do and can get other people excited about it. Responsibilities
Research and identify target companies and the right people to talk to. Build and run outreach across LinkedIn, email, and in-person events. Join productions and creative sessions. Bring feedback back to the team so we can continue to refine our offering. Qualifications / What makes you a fit
Beyond ~3 years in outbound sales, business development, partnerships, recruiting, fundraising, or any role where you’ve built and managed relationships. Direct sales experience is a plus, but the key is ability to open doors. Are self-directed. You figure out what needs to happen and you do it without being told. Are comfortable talking to people who have real budgets and real problems. Have opinions about creative work (especially social content). You notice when something is good and you care about ideas. Think about why companies buy, not just how to get them on a call. Are curious about the business of creativity. Know who Ralph Waldo Emerson is. Compensation
Commission on qualified meetings held. Commission on closed deals (first 12 months of collected revenue). Commission on upsells (incremental revenue, 12 months). On-target earnings: $95,000 to $125,000+ Full-time W-2 employment. Structured 60-day ramp with clear benchmarks. Competitive benefits including PTO, health, vision, dental, and 401K match.
