We are seeking a Senior Pricing Strategy Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping our pricing approach across insurance products and markets. In this role, you’ll combine analytical precision with business acumen to strengthen profitability and competitiveness while driving informed, strategic decisions. You’ll turn analysis into action by uncovering insights, building models, and developing pricing strategies that deliver sustainable growth and measurable impact.

The pay range for this position in Western Washington varies between $80,000.00 – $125,500.00, and for Eastern Washington varies between $69,700.00 - $109,300.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza Corp. intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

Drive pricing strategy through analysis of claims, market trends, and internal business data
Build and refine predictive pricing models incorporating costs, margins, and utilization
Evaluate and optimize pricing structures (e.g., shared savings) to improve profitability
Partner with sales to strengthen pricing strategy, negotiations, and customer value
Assess cost structures to ensure alignment with margin and profitability targets
Collaborate cross-functionally (sales, marketing, finance, product, underwriting) on pricing decisions
Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from internal and external sources
Develop automated reports, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations
Monitor key performance indicators including profitability, loss ratios, and underwriting results
Assess risk across customer segments and geographies, including emerging risk trends
Qualifications
4–6 years in pricing analysis, financial modeling, or cost evaluation in data-rich environments
Advanced Excel expertise (scenario analysis, forecasting, large-scale modeling)
Strong SQL and ETL capabilities for data extraction and transformation (e.g., Snowflake)
Experience building automated dashboards and self-service reporting (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Applied predictive modeling skills for pricing, forecasting, or risk analysis (Python, R, or similar a plus)
Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable business recommendations
Strong project management and prioritization skills in cross-functional environments
