Mechanical CAD Designer (Onsite) — Milwaukee, WI
We’re partnering with a
leading industrial automation client
to hire a
Mechanical CAD Designer
to support
new product development
for high-current, high-voltage power conversion and Motor Control Center (MCC) equipment. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll collaborate closely with engineers and contribute to the design and release of industrial power control products used across manufacturing environments.

What You'll Do
Create and update
mechanical CAD drawings
from engineering sketches and design notes
Support
new product development
for power conversion and Motor Control Center equipment
Work with
large assemblies (200+ components)
and complex mechanical structures
Suggest
design improvements
to enhance manufacturability, quality, and cost
Ensure drawings meet
project and industry standards
Maintain
ECN/ECR documentation
and follow engineering change procedures
Collaborate with
engineers, designers, and project teams
Support release and lifecycle updates of
industrial power control products
What They're Looking For
3+ years of
mechanical CAD design experience
Strong experience with
CREO, Pro/E, or AutoCAD
Ability to manage and modify
large assemblies
Experience reading and interpreting
engineering drawings
Background working with
power distribution equipment (240–690V AC)
Experience with
Pro/E CAD modeling
SAP experience
preferred
Knowledge of manufacturing processes :
Sheet metal
Plastic forming
Machining
100% onsite in
Milwaukee, WI
