Responsibilities
About the team: The TikTok USDS Joint Venture Public Policy Campaigns & Impact team works to bring to life the individual stories and experiences of TikTok creators and small businesses for lawmakers and key opinion leaders across the United States. Working closely with the broader TikTok USDS JV Public Policy team, we manage a diverse nationwide network of passionate creator advocates who are eager to share how TikTok fosters community, positivity, and economic opportunity for creators.
About the role: We are seeking a politically-savvy, relationship-driven individual to join the TikTok USDS JV Public Policy Campaigns & Impact team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for a diverse set of creator advocates involved in our public policy efforts. You’ll help build and maintain relationships with creators and small business across both the public policy spectrum. You'll also manage cross-functional efforts to connect those creators with federal, state, and local lawmakers and key opinion leaders at meetings, conferences, events, and other engagements to demonstrate TikTok's positive economic and societal impact.
Key Responsibilities
Creator Relationship Management: Serve as the main liaison for a portfolio of creators engaged in TikTok’s Public Policy Creator Advocacy Program. You’ll identify, onboard, and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with these creator partners.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with TikTok USDS JV Public Policy team to identify opportunities for creator advocates to highlight the platform’s positive impact in communities nationwide. This includes integrating them into events and policy engagements and ensuring their stories are effectively shared.
Event and Engagement Lead: Act as the primary point of contact for creator advocates at key events and engagements, ensuring they feel supported and that their participation aligns with our advocacy goals.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience working in political campaigns, public policy-focused digital communications, and/or government relations.
Qualified candidates will have a working understanding of the current political environment, state and federal legislative processes, and the creator economy.
Will also have effective communications skills and a demonstrated ability to identify and amplify individuals and stories that resonate with elected officials and key opinion leaders.
This position requires frequent travel around the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with content creators is preferred but not required.

Job Information 【For Pay Transparency】 Compensation Description (Annually) - Washington, DC The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ 113271 - $ 239400 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
