NetSuite Financial Systems Consultant 9-month Contract-to-Hire (will convert permanently). Onsite Monday-Friday 8am-5pm in Sherwood, OR. Offering $57-$68/hr with benefits.

Job Description This role is critical to supporting operational scale across finance, supply chain, warehouse, and sales operations. The ideal candidate has over five years of hands‑on NetSuite experience, strong accounting and financial process knowledge, and practical experience with SPS Commerce (EDI) and RF Smart in a distribution or manufacturing environment. This person will serve as the internal NetSuite expert and a key partner to Finance, Operations, and external implementation partners.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain NetSuite modules including GL, AP, AR, Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, and Advanced Inventory.

Serve as system owner for NetSuite enhancements, upgrades, sandbox testing, and release management.

Document system configuration, business processes, and admin procedures.

Manage revenue recognition, costing, inventory valuation, and ensure GL integrity.

Build and maintain financial reports and saved searches for leadership and auditors.

Ensure alignment with accounting best practices and internal controls.

Create and maintain operational and financial dashboards.

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes.

Act as a bridge between technical configuration and business needs.

Support audit requests and system reviews.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree.

Extensive experience with NetSuite ERP and SuiteScript.

5+ years of NetSuite experience.

NetSuite post‑implementation go‑live support.

Strong finance and accounting knowledge including process development and improvement (GAAP, Internal Controls).

ASC 606 revenue recognition.

RF‑Smart (warehouse/inventory).

Audits and Internal Controls.

Proficiency in reporting and documentation.

Experience with variance analysis and general ledger management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of accounting and finance workflows (GL, AR/AP, inventory accounting).

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products environment.

Work Environment This is a full‑time, in‑office position, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract‑to‑Hire position based out of Sherwood, OR.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $68.00/hr.
