Job Details Key Responsibilities
Review project requirements, specifications, and design information to ensure completeness and feasibility before initiating design work.
Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, documentation, and calculations using Autodesk Vault, AutoCAD, Inventor, and iLogic.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to define project scope, key functions, and timelines required to complete assigned projects.
Develop drawings using appropriate CAD methods, including customized client templates, standard company templates, or revisions to existing CAD files.
Analyze drawings, technical data, and project specifications to support effective project planning and design execution.
Produce and update drawings in accordance with project scope, ensuring accuracy and making revisions as required through the quality review process.
Review drawings created by other drafters to ensure alignment with project scope and company drafting standards.
Support Project Managers in developing project scopes, technical documentation, and cost estimates.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Associate degree in Drafting or CAD Technology with 3–5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
8+ years of demonstrated experience in a mechanical engineering or drafting environment may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Hands-on experience with Autodesk Vault, AutoCAD, Inventor, and iLogic is required.

Experience or familiarity with sheet metal and piping design.

Completion of a CAD skills assessment to demonstrate drafting and design proficiency.
