As the

Marketing Insights Manager , you are the voice of the market inside TDS. You keep a constant pulse on each market we operate in, translating complex performance data into clear, actionable insights that leaders across the organization rely on to make decisions. You build and maintain reporting that is meaningful and consumable at every level—from front-line teams to executive leadership—ensuring everyone understands how their market is performing and why.

Because no two TDS markets are alike, you spend your time deeply understanding the unique dynamics that shape success in each one. You develop a strong point of view on what operational success looks like, how it is achieved, and where opportunities or risks are emerging. With a sharp analytical lens, you identify trends across markets and within competitive environments, connecting the dots between products, pricing, marketing efforts, and operational execution to determine what’s working, what isn’t, and where adjustments are needed. In this role, you become a trusted thought partner to Product Management, Marketing, and business unit leaders. You build strong relationships across teams that influence results, combining market-specific dynamics with internal operational activity to create a holistic story of performance. Your recommendations directly shape strategies, refine marketing and product investments, and drive improved outcomes. Ultimately, your insights enable TDS to compete more effectively, adapt faster, and win in every market we serve. This position can work remotely in any of the 40+ states in which TDS Telecom operates.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain market-level reporting for each market in which TDS operates (Wireline, Cable, OOT) and update as the market evolves. This reporting should be real-time for YTD and MTD and include both the Consumer and Commercial segments. A not all-inclusive list to be included:

Develop and maintain reporting for the effectiveness of marketing/media spend across various tactics and channels.

Create and maintain models, presentations, and dashboards using marketing performance data for various marketing efforts and campaigns with ad-hoc projects and analysis completed as needed.

Ongoing monitoring of marketing KPIs and performance measurement frameworks.

Financial Operational results as compared to targets

Subscribers, Net Additions, Gross Additions, Churn, Penetration

TDS product capabilities (Fiber, Coax, DSL), demographics, market sentiment towards TDS (surveys, socials), DMA coverage, time that TDS has been in-market.

Reports need to be in a condition to be viewed at any time and fully comprehensive to understand the market’s current level of success.

Create an alarming system to identify if a market is not reaching its business objectives.

Work closely with all other business units in support of product goals and initiatives, including Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Network Operations, and Network Services.

Ability to make correlations and recommendations to teams (primarily Product Management & Marketing, but also other business units, as appropriate) for changes needed to be made to meet expected operational goals.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree OR 4+ years professional work experience.

5+ years’ experience within 2 or more of the following disciplines: sales, product management, marketing, finance, network operations, or business management.

2+ years’ experience utilizing business intelligence and data visualization software.

Excellent collaboration skills. Maintains two-way dialog with others on work and results and ability to work with associates and outside vendors at all levels.

Continued proactive engagement with regard to understanding customer needs, technology, vendor options, competitive offerings and internal capabilities. Driven to solve problems and earn business.

Results focused, utilizing data to drive recommendations and decisions.

Excellent organizational skills, follow-through and attention to detail. Can marshal resources to get things done and orchestrate multiple activities at once.

Training in marketing with product management/development and/or sales skills. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; provisioning and reporting systems). Excellent oral and written communications skills, including presentation skills to Executive management.

Clear focus on prioritizing work for maximum efficiency. Know the competition. Aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.

Telecommunication or cable experience preferred.

The listed pay range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary. Actual offers will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, location, and role-specific competencies. Some positions may also offer additional compensation, such as bonuses or equity awards.
