POSITION Sales and Marketing Manager

DEPARTMENT Marketing

FLSA STATUS Salaried/Exempt

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities

Build and maintain strong relationships with promoters and agents

Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue targets

Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals in alignment with venue goals

Negotiate venue deals with promoters and/or agents

Input and maintain all events and event holds using the booking software

Distribute booking sheets and show related information to personnel

Assist in settlement of all ticketed events

Contact prospective promoters, agents, managers and individuals to initiate the sales effort

Follow‑up on leads generated by outside sources

Conduct facility tours for prospective clients

Develop and execute marketing plans for events and venue branding

Oversee digital marketing efforts including social media, email campaigns, website content, and paid advertising

Collaborate with promoters and partners on event marketing strategies to maximize ticket sales and attendance

Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data and trends

Develop and manage partnerships with local businesses, hospitality groups, and tourism organizations to drive cross‑promotional opportunities

Identify, pitch, and help secure sponsorships that align with the venue’s brand and events

Build and manage a network of local influencers, content creators, and media personalities to amplify event promotion

Develop influencer campaigns, including hosted experiences, social collaborations, and content creation strategies

Strengthen the venue’s presence locally, nationally, and internationally

Establish partnerships with media outlets, sponsors, and community stakeholders

Represent the venue at industry events, conferences, and networking

Act as Manager on Duty as scheduled

Supervisory Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from four‑year college or university in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related field preferred

Minimum 2 years experience in sales, marketing, partnerships, or venue/event management is required

Strong understanding of live entertainment, venue operations, and event promotion

Bi‑lingual fluency in English and Spanish required

Skills and Abilities

Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required

Ability to effectively supervise staff

Ability to prioritize multiple projects

High aptitude for figures and advanced writing skills

Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
