Overview
The Communication Coordinator supports the mission and vision of Springbrook by ensuring clear, consistent, and engaging communication across all digital and visual platforms. This role works collaboratively with ministry leaders and staff to effectively share church events, stories, and opportunities for engagement through our website, app, signage, and social media channels. Key Responsibilities
Website: Manage and update all website content related to Springbrook events and ministries. Website: Maintain graphics, banners, buttons, calendars, links, and page formats for clarity and consistency. Website: Ensure all information is accurate, current, and visually appealing. App: Regularly update the Springbrook App to align with website and social media content. App: Monitor app functionality and ensure timely posting of events, announcements, and resources. App: Design, post, and schedule messages for the outdoor electronic sign. App: Coordinate sign updates with church calendar and seasonal communication priorities. Social Media: Post and manage content on Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor, Patch, and other community platforms. Social Media: Promote church events, highlight ministry stories, and engage the community online. Social Media: Maintain consistent branding and tone across all platforms. Graphics & Visual Media: Collaborate with staff and ministry leaders to identify and design compelling images. Graphics & Visual Media: Create graphics using Canva, Adobe, Photoshop or similar tools. Graphics & Visual Media: Resize and adapt graphics for various platforms and formats. Graphics & Visual Media: Create and manage walk-in announcement slides for Sunday services and special events. Project Management: Utilize project management tools to coordinate with ministry leaders and staff on upcoming events. Project Management: Maintain communication timelines, gather event details, and ensure promotional materials are completed on schedule. Qualifications
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail. Experience with website management (WordPress or similar platform preferred). Proficiency with Canva, Photoshop, or similar graphic design tools. Familiarity with social media platforms and basic analytics. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. A heart for ministry and alignment with Springbrook’s mission and values.
