Community / Property Manager - Affordable Housing
Location: Rexford, NY
Salary: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00

Role Overview At Conifer Realty, a Community Manager is more than a property overseer; they help families feel secure, neighbors connected, and communities proud. This role involves managing affordable housing units, maintaining compliance, fostering resident relationships, and ensuring smooth operational processes.
Responsibilities
Lead with heart and mentor the team, fostering growth and a culture of value.
Shape “home” by applying expertise in inspections, reporting, and affordable housing compliance, including managing LIHTC or HUD Project-Based files.
Build trusted relationships with housing authorities and community partners to connect families with vital resources.
Balance with care by overseeing leasing, rent collection, financial oversight, budgeting, and vendor management with accuracy and integrity.
Guide residents through move‑ins, move‑outs, and daily needs with empathy and professionalism.
Take ownership of the community to reflect Conifer’s commitment to dignity, quality, and care.
Qualifications
Minimum 1+ years of property management experience.
Hold a TCS or COS certification or have at least 2 years managing LIHTC or HUD Project-Based files.
Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
Willingness to work a full‑time schedule (Monday‑Friday, 40 hrs).
