GD 150 - Digital Imaging
GD 151 - Digital Photography
GD 230 - Digital Illustration & Animation
GD 235 - Production Processes
GD 250 - Graphic Design I
GD 255 - Graphic Design II
GD 260 - Video Production
GD 270 - 3D Modeling & Animation
GD 280 - Web Design for Graphic Artists
GD 290 - Portfolio Presentation

Compensation for 2025/2026 Academic Year:
Master’s degree (or higher) rate: $644 – $1082 per contact hour
Bachelor’s degree rate: $590 – $812 per contact hour
Contact hours vary depending on the course offering.
General Information
Teaching assignment may include a full range of undergraduate courses within the Graphic Arts program
Teaching responsibilities include teaching, maintaining scheduled office hours, and advising students
Participation in developing and improving academic courses
Morning, afternoon, evening, and online offerings may be available
Job Summary To design and deliver instruction to students.
Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver academic instruction, including developing syllabi, developing content, and administering assessments
Maintain and submit necessary class records, including early alert and final grade reports and attendance verification for financial aid compliance
Participate in student grade appeal procedures
Observe college calendar
Post and maintain conference hours
Participate in assessment of student learning and assessment reporting according to assessment plan
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with two years (4,000 hours) professional experience in graphic design, illustration, or related field
Experience and/or interest in using new instructional technology in the classroom such as animation, gaming, video and/or 3‑D modeling software
Demonstrated experience in areas that would complement web and print such as marketing, entrepreneurism, textile design, environment design, art and design history, storyboarding, traditional drawing/painting and/or other
Teaching experience at the higher education level preferred
All academic degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university
Ability to maintain good relationships with students, staff, and community members
Provide a digital media portfolio within the application
