Textile / Graphic Designer
We are seeking a creative and dynamic
Textile / Graphic Designer to join our NYC based team and develop original textile prints and graphic designs for our
Missy and Contemporary collections . This role collaborates closely with cross-functional partners, and works directly with overseas textile mills to bring print concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities
Create
original, trend-right prints and graphics for Missy and Contemporary collections across multiple categories.
Partner closely with
design and merchandising teams to ensure print and color direction aligns with brand identity and business needs
Design, recolor, and place original artwork into repeat
Create
factory-ready artwork , including pitch sheets and clear instructions for textile mills
Communicate directly with
overseas textile mills to develop prints and manage strike-offs
Review and comment on all
print strike-offs and bulk submissions
Create
CADs showing styles, colors, and print placements
Qualifications
Strong design portfolio showcasing
textile and graphic design expertise
Exceptional
eye for color and print
Advanced proficiency in
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Experience with
AI-driven design tools is a plus
Highly
detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
3-4 years experience working in the
fashion industry , preferably in textile or print design
Ability to collaborate effectively with teams
domestically and internationally
Strong ability to
multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
