In this role, you’ll create visuals for the news channel’s daily needs such as icons, headshots, full‑screen photos, and maps. When designing visuals for advertisements and marketing, keeping the brand’s consistency in mind. The Graphic Designer will also work with several clients on projects including promotions, live remotes, live studios, programming, and marketing and sales campaigns. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that creates compelling, timely, and accurate content to connect with viewers across traditional and digital platforms.

Required Qualifications
Experience:
Designing for television, print and web applications 3+ years Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field or comparable work experience Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D and Adobe Creative Suite and Chyron Skills:
Understanding of current graphic design best practices, attention to detail, strategic, creative thinking, and ability to brainstorm Abilities:
Ability to clearly communicate solutions; and able to relate well with populations and age groups Travel:
Works inside and outside throughout the year and occasional travel required to production sites Schedule:
Ability to work different shifts or longer shifts due to 'breaking news' and severe weather emergencies. Willing and able to work weekends and holidays and in severe weather emergencies, such as hurricanes The base pay for this position generally is between $50,400.00 and $88,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive‑based compensation such as bonuses.
